Carolina Lathan-Stiefel exhibits her site specific monumental installation entitled green-house. Green-house is inspired in part by the form and pattern of the stacked stones that Bartram utilized to build this structure. Call 828-526-4949.

What: American Art Today: Figures
This prestigious, juried exhibition features two-dimentional and sculptural works of approximately 50 artists from across the nation. The Theme for the exhibition is Figures. This year's juror is Jonathan Stuhlman, Curator of the American Art at the Mint Museum of Art in Charlotte.

What: The Three Potters
This year's featured potters for the annual clay symposium. The Three Potters are three of the most well known poteers in America: Cynthia Bringle, Michael Sherrill, and Ron Meyers. For an extended period of time, a collection of their works will be on display. Call 828-526-4949.

What: Nunsense
Nunsense begins when the Little Sisters of Hoboken discover that their cook, Sister Julia, Child of the God, has accidentally poisoned 52 of the sisters, and they are in dire need of funds for the burials. The sisters decide that the best way to raise money is to put on a variety show, so they take over the schools auditorium. which is currently set up for the 8th grade production of Grease. Featuring star turns, tap, and ballet dancing, an audience quiz, and comic suprises, this show has become an international phenomenon. With more than 5000 productions worldwide,it has been translated into 21 languages.
